Only one sparrow, Scronkfinkle, suggests they first figure out how to tame an owl *before* bringing one into their midst. The others dismiss him, saying the first task is hard enough.

Humanity is the sparrow collective, racing to build a more capable AI without a full understanding of how to control it. The fable is unfinished. The choices we make now will determine how it ends.
